Article Processing Charges

We are committed to advancing research and knowledge in the fields of agriculture, environmental sustainability, and related disciplines. As an open-access journal, we believe in making scientific knowledge accessible to all, which is why we operate under an article processing charge (APC) model to cover the costs of publication and ensure the quality and availability of our content.

Article Processing Charge (APC) Details:

The APC information for publishing in AgroEnvironmental Sustainability is given below:

Indian authors: 2500 INR (excluding payment gateway charges)
Non-Indian authors: 30 USD (excluding payment gateway charges)

Please note that the APC is applicable only upon the acceptance of your manuscript after a successful peer review.

Why an Article Processing Charge?

Open access allows researchers, practitioners, and the general public to freely access and utilize the findings of scientific research. By implementing APCs, we can sustain our operations, cover editorial costs, maintain a rigorous peer-review process, and provide high-quality publishing services to our authors.

APC Benefits:

  1. Global Accessibility: Open access ensures that your research reaches a global audience without any barriers or subscription fees. It promotes collaboration, accelerates knowledge dissemination, and increases the visibility of your work.

  2. High-Quality Publishing Services: Our dedicated editorial team, including subject editors, experts and professional copyeditors, provides comprehensive support throughout the publication process. From manuscript evaluation to peer review, copyediting to typesetting, and article promotion, we strive to maintain the highest publishing standards.

  3. Rigorous Peer Review: We follow a stringent peer-review process to ensure the scientific integrity and validity of the articles we publish. Our peer reviewers are experts in their respective fields, and their insights and feedback help authors improve the quality and impact of their research.

  4. Digital Object Identifier (DOI): Each published article receives a unique DOI, providing a persistent and citable identifier. This enables seamless referencing and linking of your work, making it easier for others to cite and build upon your research.

APC Waivers and Discounts:

We understand that financial constraints may hinder some researchers from publishing their work. As part of our commitment to inclusivity and promoting equitable access, we offer the following options:

  1. APC Waivers: Authors from lower-middle-income economies and low-income economies, as classified by the World Bank (listed here), may be eligible for partial APC waivers (20%). We encourage eligible authors to contact our editorial office for further information and to discuss their eligibility.

  2. Discounts for Society Members and Journal Reviewers: If you are a member of our society or affiliated with AgroEnvironmental Sustainability as a reviewer, you may be eligible for 20% discounted APCs (applicable to one article per year). Please refer to our website or contact our editorial office for more details on the applicable discounts.

Transparent APC Utilization:

At AgroEnvironmental Sustainability, we believe in transparency and accountability. We ensure that the APCs are utilized for essential publishing operations, including editorial services, peer review management, typesetting, hosting and maintenance of the online platform, and promotion of published articles.

Upon acceptance of your manuscript, our editorial office will provide you with detailed instructions regarding the payment process.
